Why do we pick spray tan as our method for tan and tanning?

The color wears off in six or eight days, with the possibility to extend the tan to ten days if a post tanning treatment is used.
Tan uniformity is the main advantage that comes with the use of a fake spray tan but not all products are top notch. As it happens with all the market sectors, there are also doutbful items sold for very low prices. They may carry the name of tan sprays but you may not be certain of results and health safety. Experts advise users to be very careful with the sunless tanning products they buy because low quality merchandise as in fake spray tan items could cause contact dermatitis and other skin problems such as allergies, irritations and excessive dryness.
The application of fake spray tan are not necessarily without risks, there are skin conditions that make the use of the tanning agents impossible. For instance, sunless tanners are not recommended to people with sensitive dry skin. The dryness of the skin could get aggravated even if there is no allergic reaction. Normally, the tanning agents are also combined with moisturizers, but they do not prove enough for the dry skin needs. Moreover, with sensitive skin the choice of the moisturizing cream or lotion as such is a challenge, hence, one can hardly rely on the fake spray tan to help.
If you apply fake spray tan regularly, it is best to undergo the treatment at a beauty parlor rather than at home. Even if the tanning agents are believed to be completely non-toxic and risk free, it is still a good idea not to apply them permanently and allow the skin to be free of all foreign substances for a fairly long period of time. This will prevent any possible dysfunction at the skin level and will preserve the great look.
